'O.C.' star bites on vampire project at NBC

"The O.C." star Adam Brody is going behind the camera with plans to develop an NBC drama that centers on a rookie cop who joins a special unit of the LAPD that tracks the vampire population.

Brody will serve as an executive producer of the untitled project, which has received a script commitment from the network.

Brody, who plays the privileged yet socially awkward Seth Cohen on Fox's teen soap "The O.C.," most recently co-starred in the hit summer feature "Mr. & Mrs. Smith." Elsewhere on the feature side, Brody is co-producing a remake of "Revenge of the Nerds" for Fox Searchlight.

This is a great way to wash away all the work people have done to give us a somewhat approachable name. This will definitely bring in newbies and wannabes from here to kingdom come. It makes me very angry. Great way to educate the masses on how DELINQUENT we are and how CRAZY we are. TRACKING us. T-R-A-C-K-I-N-G us. TTRRAACCKKIINNGG us. That doesn't sound like they are trying to improve the worlds view of us. The obvious question is WHY would they track us. I am very worried that all of the work people have done is going to get washed into the gutter. Sad

Empath Abilities
An earlier entry discussed my progress with my own empath abilities. I felt I would update that so that I didn't leave any loose ends.

I was able to control my own emotions, the emotions of others, channel and block different emotions. So I think that particular area has been taking care of.

Ryah (Insatiable Vampire) and I have decided to do almost the ultimate thing you can do with a board. Give every member moderator status. Trusted members will be given admin status. This is really the ultimate thing. Giving control over to the members of the board, but the admins still having power.

Now! To prevent trolls from strolling in here, from here on out, everyone who joins has to have 35 posts to become a moderator. To become an admin, you have to not only be approved by 2/3rds of the current admins (if on odd # of admins. if there is an even number then that goes to 3/4ths), but be cleared by Ryah and I, and never have abused the powers that come with being a moderator (see below).

This board is all about going against the grain. However, seriously abusing powers and deleting all threads in a forum will get you banned. Mildly abusing powers will either get you unmoded permanently or suspended.

I know there are some of you who do not like the prospect of having admin or mod status. You can choose to ignore this, and not do anything about it at all. You are not obligated at all to use the powers given to you. If you feel very very uncomfortable about it, we can unmod/unadmin you at your request. You will later on be able to regain these powers if you desire. PM either Ryah or myself, and we will take care of it.

While we are very experimentive with this, we still take this board seriously. We do not take this lightly, and it is a great experiment within itself. It might work, it might not work. Do not try and ruin it for everyone.

It seems more and more websites and groups are becoming 18+. I can understand why they do that, and the pedophilla and legal reasons are completely understandable. I'm just sad that the resources for those under 18 are becoming thinner and thinner. Just a few days ago Sanguinarius' VCMB made the donor ads completely 18+, when before they were an all ages thing. It's becoming sad, what the few fucks do to screw the others in the community that want to grow and learn. to all of them, FUCK YOU.

It's been a while since I posted here. Sorry about that. I've been busy as of late.

Now that I'm done promoting..

Been working hard at energy work and manipulations. Trying to feed and manipulate pranic energy alone is extremely hard for me, and I haven't fed from it yet. Emotions, on the other hand are so powerful they're hard to control. They just flood me and then I have trouble analyzing them and manipulating them because they overpower me. But even so, I'm working on it, and making progress.
